White Dunes, Gypsy Hues

Forgive me for the photo overload but the reasoning behind it is quite clear and simple: they’re all awesome.

Sand, camels, warm desert winds – another gorgeous vision turned reality by Spell & the Gypsy Collective. Oh, the things I would have given to be on set when they shot their Fall 2014 lookbook! Well, I would’ve done practically anything to be the lucky lady in the photos all styled up in their to-die-for designs, frolicking in the desert heat. Anyone who can combine python shorts, a long, billowy, floral kimono and sleeveless vintage rocker t-shirts together instantly has my vote.

The Aussie brand cast a spell on me a few years back – I remember trying to pin point their aesthetic in few words, and it proved to be a challenge because their designs can be extremely romantic, sexy, 70’s influenced, slightly skin baring, down to earth, colorful, a little gritty, and playful all at the same time. See for yourself!

While you can buy their clothes through their online shop, a visit to their flagship boutique in Byron Bay would be (at least for me) a one of a kind experience complete with fringe, lighter than air kimonos, and many other dreamy summertime essentials.
